rule of thumb is put more gas in when its low, regardless of where your fuel pump is there is crap in your tank and it clogs up the filter and kills the pump.

i only needed this info because i used to do a LOT of highway driving (2 to 300 per day) and needed to know if i could make it to the next station.

and a oil change every month, i don't miss that job so much. although they did buy my gas and give me 5,000 a year to use my truck.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

well honestly its not like your fancy and special and you can find out and i cant because my reason for wanting to know isnt good enough. all im asking is if anyone knows the amount of fuel in the tank when the light triggers. heres a rule of thumb for you, if you dont know the answer...dont post.

i think we all understand what your asking, i don't think any one here is rich, and we all fall on hard times but as stated above in other posts every car is different so mine will not be same as yours, the only way for YOU to figure this out is to fill the tank, and do the math. good luck
