i have a 94 grand prix with a 3.1 engine. ive been having nothing but problems since i got this car a month ago. first the radiator had a hole in it...costed $100 to fix. car kept overheating and losing antifreeze. replaced the thermestat.....well still messed up and at that point i realized all the antifreeze was just going out the exhaust. so i myself (completely unexperienced) got into my engine and replaced the intake gaskets. i got the car back together and now it wont start...did a little troublshooting and i noticed theres no fuel pressure in the fuel rail. checked all the fuses and it of course has a full tank of gas. also had someone help me and make sure everything was hooked up right which it was. so im wondering if its the fuel filter or fuel pump. because before i fixed the car i noticed it smelled of gas after i ran it. hopefully i put enough info on here for someone to come up with something

when you turn the key to the accesory position you should hear a whine like a high pitch commin from under the car, this is the fuel pump priming. make sure you hear this sound or else somethings up with the fuel pump
