So I need a transmission for my daily. 2001 gtp. Has 190k on it. What all vehicles can I pull the tray from for a direct swap and start driving? Does it have to be from a 2p01 gtp or can I use one from a monte or impala or something?

Pretty much anything '97 to '02 with the supercharged 3800. The w-bodies would be a DIRECT swap. The c and h body transmissions are the same, but have a different stall torque converter.
