I changed around some tranny settings and it feels better. I think this converter is closer to a 3200ish then a 3000 stall. *shrug*
Crossing my fingers that this trans lasts a year or two! Trannyman - any frequent rebuilder discounts? lol.

Haha well "knock on wood" you do qualify for the refresh as long as you dont have the hardpart scenario you ran into last time! This is something I started to offer guys like you who already have a built trans that just needs freshened now and then. Yes it is a lot of work to pull the trans and ship it off but is just something to be expected with a build such as yours.
If I may ask, what about his build makes is so that it need a refresh annually?
When you make high HP the trans is going to wear faster and that is life no matter what car you own. The chains stretch sooner and clutches wear. Any sub 12 second car owner needs to consider this. Nobody mentions this and a lot of people think you just buy a performance transmission and it is supposed to last forever regardless the environment but things wear faster with higher power levels and a "Refresh" is a service I offer to go back through an already built trans to do just that-freshen it up. It is NOT a complete rebuild and assumes the trans already has all the parts replaced that should have been during the initial rebuild so soft parts get replaced and that is it unless hard parts are found worn or broken and then it gets more expensive but again that is just part of making high HP levels and should never be overlooked.
