    Hello,

I was getting the hard shifts when warm so I I did the Transgo Shift Kit tonight. Shifting perfectly except for when going into reverse. When gong into reverse it is now making a "clunk" sound. Doesnt sound good at all. I'll do a full test drive tomorrow but right now I have no idea why in heck that woud happen all of a sudden.

I changed the fluid/filter a couple of months ago when I first noticed the hard shifting. I came on this site, downloaded the awesome tutorials, and ordered the shift kit. Tonight I dropped the pan, got fluid everywhere, started cleaning out the plan when I rememered I was going to put Seaform Tranny Tune in it prior to changing. I put the pan back on, put seafoam in it, drive 5 miles, dropped pan, did not do flush, installed shift kit, new fluid/filter.

    Any ideas?

    Mike

Everything is fine know...go figure. One of two things could have happened
    1. it took a couple of shifts to get the fluid everywhere (i just made that up, really doesnt make much sense)
2, I also had unhooked the battery and maybe the computer was making it shift hard into reverse

Heck, I really dont know. I do know that shift kit is pretty nice, let's hope it works in warm weather!

if you unhooked the battery then the trans needs to relearn.

Follow up from last year. Shifted great all summer in the heat. Still going strong.
