Ok, I know this code is for the Torque Converter line pressure selenoid. However, what could cause the Service Light to go on for a few weeks, the go off for a day or two, then come back on. Trying to see if it is worth fixing, many new parts just recently done, or drive it into the ground and by a newer GP. Any thoughts?

They are just certain things that have to fall into place for a check engine light to come on. They program certain codes to have certain failures in an order and when they are met, the lights appears.

So for the TCC light it could meet the failure 40 times in a row and always set the light but on off chances the solenoid could work without a issue for a few times, thus letting the light go off because now the computer says everything is fine.

So in the end you still have a problem and it will need to be fixed at some point.
