You ended up going with a plate and bar cooler didn't you?

Highest I saw today was 183*. It was about 85* at the time. I am ran in series and I ran the car hard just to see what it would do. The coolant temp was climbing a little so that may have been a bigger factor than anything.

I plan to watch the temps on Thursday's road trip. If they get too hot I plan on swapping over to stand alone. I don't care what the manufacturer's say, I still think stand alone will be more effecient.

It also seems to retain heat. I'll check fluid levels for the 3rd time later and the lines aren't leaking

Not sure. Install is pretty straight forward. Maybe too small of a cooler.

Tube and fin coolers will usually do that. Especially wjen you have trans fluid that gets baked in a radiator trans cooler first.

THIS IS WHY I PREACH STANDALONE!

I need to redo mine you have to take it completley apart then use a heat gun and pry the plastic off

What do you mean by standalone? Just have the cooler do all of the work and not run the lines into the rad at all? If so, this is what we did with mine.

You didn't get to me quick enough!! I'll make it stand alone if I start having more issues
Edit. Also I made it run through the tube and fin cooler first

That's where you went wrong. You should have cut the return line if you were running in series.
