Ok so sometimes, granted only sometimes, 20 % of the time I'd say if I am at wide open throttle, my car won't shift it'll hit the revv limiter and just say pinned unless I lift off the gas for a second then mash it again, it's an 05 with a 3.4 pulley and supporting mods, zzp PCM and a zzp s/k I have been thinking it could be a pressure control solenoid, or could it be the springs for my accumulators? I was disappointed when my zzp kit only had plastic shims where I think it was the trans go has new springs too, could this be a spring issue? A pcs issue? Or something more pricey... Or is it my zzp PCM not being tuned right? I've been thinkin all 3 things... Also if I do have to change the pressure control solenoids, are there any hard parts that I can swap out while I am at it? I've never had one of these trannys apart so I'm not sure. But it would make sense to swap a pump shaft or something out while I tear it apart for the solenoids, if that is the case... Thanks for your input.

The typical pressure soleniod going bad shows itself as code P1811 and bang shifting based on the pressure being jacked to max by the pcm.
The ZZP plastic.. ugh I guess they might be causing an issue. Transgo has metal shims and the springs as well.

Holding in gear like that, maybe something isn't being met for the shift. Shifts can be programmed and in that programming if the right things aren't seen by the pcm, it won't shift.

Other things than can cause shifting issues are the maf, tps and map sensors.

To change the solenoid you really dont have to go far enough into the trans to warrant any hard part replacement in my opinion. If it is the solenoid, which it could be several things, then its a really simple process to swap it out.

Well it seemed simple to swap out, but I wasn't sure what hard parts if any I had access to as well as those solenoids, but from what bill is saying the solenoids would throw a code right? I have no codes. My throttle body is drive by wire so the tps shouldn't be an issue right? It's my understanding that it's all built into the throttle body, my maf should be good, cleaned it not too long ago, my map seems fine, I had an analog boost gauge then swapped to an aero tech and they both read about the same. I'm just worried about hard part replacement because right now I'm on a 3.4 and running methanol injection with 0 kr and could probably drop to a 3.2 and be fine plus I have a full size intercooler to install so hard parts are going to be an issue soon, I'm not cheap I just don't like wasting money and every time I drop the pan or pull the side off the tranny that's just throwing away 50 bucks in fluids lol. I just want to figure out what the issue is, and if it means my tranny is toast I guess I'm going to rebuild it with the upgraded hard parts and chain etc, it's just weird cuz it only does it every once in a while, and usually only when I'm racing someone, almost lost to a turbo civic cuz of it and well that my friends is unacceptable. It's not heat related I've been monitoring my trans temp and it rarely even gets to 200 usually stays at like 174-185 while my coolant temp is around 178. It never slips it's always firm shifts. I just don't understand. If I run 95 percent throttle all the way up to 100mph + it won't ever do it. Only 100 percent throttle... Maybe it's time for hp tuners suite?

Not necessarily. The shift takes long enough that the pcm sees it and sets pressure to HOLY FAWK that hit hard pressure. Which it does through the P1811 code when it sees a long shift.

Since you aren't getting massive rip the car apart shifts.. there's a chance something else is hanging you up.

Like what though is the question? Shady plastic pieces stuffed into my accumulator packs? Lol I've been skeptical of those since I got them. I'm wondering if maybe if I keep my foot down when it won't shift if it'll throw a code? Because when it won't shift and is hitting the revv limiter I like instantly peddle it and then get back on it and it shifts, but I'm a little scared cuz it doesent sound happy when it doesent shift, it like backfires and **** sorta, not exactly a back fire but it def sounds like it's missing or something when it does, it's hard to explain exactly but I know it's not good, guy at the local speed shop said it's possible that it's a tuning error... But he's never worked on the 4t65e he usually builds old school muscle.
