Can someone link me to what transgo shift kit i need for my 2004 GP GT. I know its the 4t65e but on some of the ebay ads it says that it requires transmission removal and cannot be installed via the lower pan.

If im not mistaken, my car's (2004 GP GT) valve body is accessible via the lower pan?? Im not sure if they are referring to other vehicles that take the same kit or not. Figured I would ask the experts here :-)

Also, Canadian links would be nice but not a necessity

    Thanks in advance!

The shift kit is the same for all of them.

Don't need to remove the transmission for it.

Just need to do a pan drop.

It's pretty simple and straight forward.

that's what I thought, but being that I haven't done this on this particular car and I see the ads saying needs to be installed via the side panel and not the lower. I tend to question them a bit haha.

Rather ask here and find the truth

Well if you wanted to install the full kit, then I think a drop is needed. But most just change the springs in the accumulator which would only require the pan drop. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
