    Hello All,

Well I recently had the transmission rebuilt. I'm noticing now an interesting noise.
Driving in the snow now the tires spin more often. I find when I'm losing traction there's a noise that comes from up front.
The best way to describe it is if you were to put a piece of plastic in spokes of a bike. (Not the best description I know)
It's only when the tires spin and if I were to turn off the traction control I don't believe it happens.
I'm just curious if the noise would be part of the transmission or if it's something else within the engine bay.

    Any input appreciated

    Thanks

I understand it's related but I can't only say I've heard the noise before. Just recently after getting stuck in snow a couple weeks back.

yup, that your traction control kicking in, its more like the engine cuts out.

i turn the TC off if its raining out, snow its off before i pull out of my spot. damn pain in the ass.

Thank you guys. I definitely knew it was traction control related as turning it off and I don't hear the noise during spin.
Just had some concern that the noise was a result of something traction control related being broken when it attempts to engage
