maybe once a week ill leave my house drive for short period and ill stop at a light, light goes green ill give the car gas and ill start moving forward, maybe 3-4 seconds later ill hear a thud and thats it.. im thinking either tranny or i riped a cv boot last year and pretty sure theres no more grease in it might be cv joint or possibly a motor mount, i can go drive for couple hours around town and never feel it for days, sometimes longer then a week.. and randomly it will happen....

    Not enough info.

What I read for symptoms was sometimes you leave a light and feel a bang.

    Please desribe it more etc.
Any feeling as though power isn't consistent to the wheels when it happens?
Any other even slightly odd behavior from it?
When it bangs, does the engine seem to go up or down oddly in rpm?
Is this a bone jarring bang or just a clunk?
Which side does it seem to come from?
Does it change if you have more or less people in the car?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Your rear engine mouth and front are probably toast I disagree completely with shorter dog bones on ls4 cars cause they compress the front mount to much and stretch the rear IMO go back to stock do gone and really look at your lower mounts

Passenger side oil pan and transmission diff cover. If you've never changed them you need them. There easy to do though only pain is taking out the CV axle to get to the rear one
