I have a 2000 GP Se with *shakes head* right around 220k on both the motor and tranny and am looking for a lower mileage tranny but everytime i do a google search i come up empty I am trying to get her a bit more reliable for now till I have the money to really perform surgery on her and replace her stock 3100 with a 3400 or possibly a 3800 down the line as i have the money to do so. Any suggestions on a site to look on I am about lost here and dont want her to fail before i get the replacement tranny. Did a fluid swap a few months back and it became manageable but i want something better ( plus i intend on giving this car to my mom after all the mods are done to it) Any help would be appreciated.

Any local auto part recycler will be able to sell you a low mileage used tranny.

Good luck 3800 swapping a 3.1 car... This will help with that Advanced Search - Pontiac Grand Prix Forums : Grandprix

car-part.com is great for locating a transmission. Also being in PA, you might be near Harry's, Wegotused.com
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
