    I have the strangest problem.

Only during u turns my tranny seems like it is in neutral trys to catch. Have to let off gas wait a few seconds then it is fine once car is straighten out.

all other turns are not affected.

I dont know of anything in the transmission that would cause that, but Dave would be the better input on that aspect of it.

When I read the post I was thinking perhaps an axle issue?

I have had a few people ask me about this same problem and they found that after a trans service the transmissions were about 2 quarts low on fluid and it would sluch far enough to the side of the pan on a U turn to allow air to suck up instead of fluid and cause this. Adding fluid fixed their problems. Otherwise there is nothing in the trans that would cause this because it doesnt care if it is upside down as long as fluid is going from A to B under pressure it will do its job. If you have a bad CV then it is going to likely make noise but may be something else to check. Will it do this from a dead stop or only while rolling into it? If you go in a parking lot and turn the steering wheel all the way in one direction and make a few loops will it still do this?
