So i removed the oil pan and found some bad signs.
The filter fell down after I changed the oil two weeks ago. I put a new seal and filter in. Heres what it looks like.

How do I get the filter to sit snug? The zzp did not come with a new seal / grommet.
What is this new stuff stuck to the underside of my pan bad? What is it, looks almost like sap from a tree.
