Today I bought 8 qts. Of fluid, a bottle of Lucas, and a new filter. I also went to ace hardware and bought 2- 1/2" spacers and 2- 3/4" spacers. My question is, which correct spacers go in the 1-2 shift accumulator and the 3-4, and also, can I reuse the accumulator gasket?

Yes the gasket can be re-used.

You still want the upgraded springs, those spacers arent going to do much without those springs.

The ZZP kit only comes with the spacers, no springs and people seem to give it good reviews. I wouldnt say the springs are a deal breaker. I put the ZZP kit in my car and it made a change for the better. Sorry, I threw the instructions away, so i cant help you with spacer placement.

Zzps spacers also mushroom out within a couple thousand miles.

    Intense, Thrasher or trans go...

The 1-2 has 2 springs and the 2-3 has 3 springs, all different sizes.

Just buy a shift kit and do it right.

Its like 100 bucks for a proper shift kit. As FFDP already stated, go with a well known shift kit manufacturer. A transmission is not something you put "DIY" parts into.
