    Hi all,
I just bought a 2001 grand prix and just want to know what OEM tranny fluid I should should use? Also what additive, if any, you recommend.

    Thanks

    VI is 6.

Either.. your choice. If you put in an additive, I'd say Lucas stop slip.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I would go dex 6 (VI) depending on the mileage. If not dex 3 would be just fine.

I recommend VI. Just watched III turn into Dr. Pepper in 30,000 miles.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
