I know I have to pull the transmission. After that, how hard are they to actually replace? Do they just slide off the gears, or do I need a special tool? I am upgrading to a TEP trans this summer, I just need to get the car back on the road for the time being.

While I have your attention, what else in the transmission could completely wipe out every gear. The car rolls fine and the motor is perfect. Flywheel? Input shaft? I was getting on it pretty hard and all of a sudden I had no power. I didn't hear a sound, and while the motor is running, I hear nothing.
