Hey guys so I bought a warranty with 2000 Grand Prix GT when I bought it and it covers the transmission. Well the warranty has about 3000 miles left and the tranny is giving me some problems. My question is....is there anyway to make the tranny die quicker without a mechanic being able to tell? I was told that I could drain most of the fluid out and that would kill it but I thought automatic transmissions used pressure from the fluid? also how obvious would it be if I did that then just added fluid afterward?

If it is giving you problems, that is enough to take it back under warranty. No need to kill it.

If it is out of fluid, overheats, and has no leak point, it'll be pretty clear what happened. Just take it in as-is.

    I'll help you kill it.

    Lets go joy riding.

Burnouts around corners will chew it up.
