    98 GTP a couple of days ago the cruse stopped working and now today on my way home to change my pants bc they ripped at work the trans would not shift out of second. Worked great on the way to work. Please help. I will check when i can at work for answers, Thank god for a second car. G2g. Thanks in an advance.

    hmmm sounds like it is in limp mode. Could be a numerous things causing it to stay in limp mode.

    Take a look at the drivers side of the transmission up top. Check to be sure that the large electrical connection is fully seated. If it is, then check to be sure that none of the wires that lead to this harness are chaffed and possibly grounding out. Follow the harness back from the trans. and check all that you can see. Can't remember for sure if this disappears under the airbox like the ECU harness or not.
