i am looking to replace my trans in the next 6 months to a year and cant decide who to go with. i have been looking twards getting a transmission from zzp with the single chain upgrade, imput and pump shaft upgrades, 3000 stall with flex plate. all shipped to my work for 3,414 and then it will coast my 200 to ship it back and then i get my 400 core deposit back. so i still end up with a 3,214 transmission ready to handle 11 seconds passes.

should i get a zzp or different

havent decided all that yet. right now i have the exhaust side ported on the heads. i will either have the intake ported and the exhaust ported more, get a set of aluminum heads or get a set of stage 3 heads from intense

Everybody is saying TEP... I wanted to know the same thing. I am having mine done in my 97 GTP this winter and I am going to have ZZP do it. I live in Grand Rapids so it is SOOO convenient. Plus for the price with install I really cant beat it. Is there some reason to not have ZZP do it?

Ive heard of lots of warranty issues. You being local might make out better. I remember at one point there was issues where they were being deceitful about there torque convertors being brazed. I refuse to purchase from them anymore with all the BS i have gotten from them. TEP is where im going to go.

yea, TEP has GREAT customer service, I have not bought anything from them. He was extremely patient with a trans problem I was having and answered a million questions over a month with 20+ e-mails. Great guy when I need a trans I'm going with TEP.
