    This does not seem like a hard job, but I believe mine is going out as sometimes the car will rev high but not move much at all. It does not do this all the time only intermittently. Sometimes when it does this the rpm will drop a little lower then 1K as well. Anyone have this issue before? I think I might try replacing the modulator and the lines too.

    you might have a vac leak.
