If the car was maybe 2500lb-3000lbs, you might get away with a 7/8ths chain. The 1" chain is hard to find, expensive and only comes in 3.29 ratio. The 7/8ths chain you can find in much more ratios for your needs, if anything, you may want to check the chain for stretching every so often.
Your probably going to want the tranny to shift pretty hard as well, so your probably going to need to be able to bump up the line pressures on the trans in the pcm and on the trans itself. Probably going to need a steel channel plate gasket to handle that.
Is the car N/A, s/c or turbo? There are torque converters zzp sells, but you may want to go with a custom converter.
300m input shaft, hardened output shaft and pump shaft. Most transmission builds of the 4t65e don't last very long when built by someone else not experienced with this type of trans. We have zzp, triple edge performance, tim king at intense racing and a few other shops around the U.S. that do excellent work on the 4t65e's.
