Been having transmission issues (really late shifting) for two years now. did transmission filter 6 months ago but never found anything in the oil pan. decided to open the filter and this is what I found, it looks like clutch material. can anyone confirm this?

Def, not normal particulate in the filter. I had pieces uf metal in the bottom of my pan, I found during my transmission fluid filter change. I had a issue with the trq. converter not holding under load. I put in some LUCAS tranny stuff and it helped alot, the tranny is still going strong at 155k.
Cant' hurt to tray some tranny stuff int it.

looked at the 150 kit but had one question. Did it come with the steels too?

I did not think the LUCAS stuff was going to work either, but after about 500 mile of driving, my conveter holding issue is no longer an issue, meaning, it holds under acceleration, (load), unlike before were the rpm would bump up and down if I pressed the pedal down slowly to speed up.

I jinxed myself, my tranny gave out yesterday. had to drive 8 miles to get home going 16 mph max. it fought to stay alive though. lasted 3 1/2 years with the late shifting.
