I bought this ZZP 3000 stall used and it was a little discolored, but I didn't really think anything of it. I don't think the previous owner had the correct lockup tables. My car always had a shudder since putting this in but I didn't know if it was the cause. I put about 9000 miles on it and near the end I noticed that the trans fluid temp would shoot up really fast when going WOT. The paint is cooked in case anyone is wondering. I'm guessing that the incorrect lockup tables that the previous owner probably used must have damaged the clutch.
