Shift Solenoids

I need to replace the shift solenoids on a 98 GP GXP. Does the subframe have to be removed to get to them or will the motor/trans hang down far enough to get the cover off without removing it?

dont have to totally remove it... it can be dropped in the rear

rear of subframe... then drop tranny/motor down. voila
