is there anything i should replace on the drive train while i have it out?
Like with any other area of the car. Pay attention to wear items such as mounts, sway bar bushings and links, axle boots etc. Replace as needed.
i'm looking for more of a preventive maintenance. if i have half the tranny out.. i'll replace anything that i can while its out.. what are some parts? so i can potentially order them before i start taking this thing out that why i don't have to wait for parts to get to me after i take it out and realize i need a part. even though i could get some parts at napa. or is napa a place to shy away from with tranny parts.
Hold up here. In one thread you ask what can be done with the trans in the car. Then in this one it would sound like you are pulling it out for a full build. Can we get an understanding of which way you are going and keep it to one thread?
Don't wanna confuse me right before I leave for a long weekend. I might tell you to replace a roll of flux core solder instead of the flux capacitor
revert to my ride thread for this now. for an overview and to clear up stuff here.. my goal is not to have to pull the whole tranny out. I want to replace the BV and PCS while i have the cover off. my question is: is there anything else i should replace while i have the cover off beside the boost valve (main objective) and PCS (dave said to replace right away too)??
