It sounds like the full synthetic is (or was) considered DexIII but it's not as clear from the website, etc.

Thanks for the help! I've got to do this in a week or so, that & plugs, maybe wires....depends on funds, which seem to be missing lately.
I stick with dex 6 just because its trusted and its kinda like one of those "if it aint broke, dont fix it" kinda deals.

As for the plugs and wires. I would just do the plugs, because the wires should be just fine unless you happen to break one. I only did plugs when I did mine. For me too funds are kinda tight because of college coming in the fall. I am only doing smalls things to the car aswell.

Dex 6 is factory rated for your transmission...who would know whats best than the people who engineered your car. I believe if I'm not mistaken that the DEX line is full synthetic

I just switched to Dex VI with 123K on my tranny...... no probs here. Also took 8 quarts to do a pan drop... you could be more or less, but thats a good ballpark to run with. I just used the ZZP filter, which is made in china, which you'd prob get at the parts store.

And if your going to do the shift kit, this will help, and save you some $$.

You can also ground pin-21 to engage "performance shift" on your GT... worked on mine. here But I didn't wire it up to a button, so its on all the time.
Its just a car.......with rust and dreams for the future!!!!
