I want to modify my current 2002 GTP Stock tranny. I dont have the money for a new rebuilt tranny so i just want to mod it to be safe. I'm about to go below a 3.4" pulley and was wondering what mods i would need to keep my transmission safe. my current mods are ssac headers, stage 1 zzp throttle body, 3.4 pulley, all the other supporting mods. what mods would i need to do to my transmission to beef it up to be safe when dropping under a 3.4 " pulley

You should be fine at the current power level you are at. When you start moving down to a 3.25 and beyond then the transmission starts disagree with the power, but if anything I believe an input shaft would be the main thing you need to replace but there are others. By the way stay away from manual shifting the clutches don't like that.
There is no replacement for displacement........unless you have a supercharger or turbo

2000 Bright Red GTP Coupe GXP axle back, GMPP sway bar, NGK TR6, 180 stat. (Uninstalled Aeroforce Interceptor, DHP PCM, FWI, Gen V on the way) and still no pulley in sight.

drop her panties and change the fluid and filter. Might want to think about a trans cooler, and shift kit such as a trans-go or intense. On a side note the weakest link is the 4th clutch hub on pre 03 cars.
