Thread: slow shift

Take it to TEP, anywhere else is not worth it IMO. If you want to try something and dont mind wasting 75 dollars if it doesnt work, drop the pan, change the filter and top off with dexron VI...might not do anything...might save you from needing a new tranny for a while.

Check the fluid first. If it is just a matter of the fluid being a little low, and the fluid is still good, might need to spend anything but a couple bucks to top off the fluid.

You haven't by chance disconnected the battery recently, have you?

Could be the trans but then again could just need a adjustment to the PCM, Now the pressures could be off, did you check for leaks and also checked the fluid? Changing the fluid and the filter could help if the trans is due for it. May want to baby it now to be safe.
