i mailed will overkill a message one time asking if i could keep my factory PCM and he give me a new tuned PCM. I understand core charge but I read recently that Trannyman said tranny's must be same year as the PCM's. So will overkill said that they cannot tune 06+ PCM's, that he'd have to tune me a 04 or 05 PCM. so would another year tuned PCM work on my tranny??

    p.s. I have an 06 GT s/c

Yes a 05 pcm should be fine.

The year of pcm and trans doesnt have to be an exact year match but there are variations. You will be safe using an 04/05 pcm with your 06 trans. As long as an 03+ transmission is used with an 03+ pcm you are safe

Thats what I figured you suggested. I plan on using a 03 pcm for my 04+ transmission in my 01.
