The chain swap can be done in the car but working on it sideways can fight you going back together and make it quite the chore. Since your trans is only a year old I would think that you should have the stronger V8 style chain ( 093 ) in your trans as ZZP started advertising this a while back though you may want to ask them to verify this. Not usings slicks is safest for longevity with what you have so you arent putting as much stress on them. Street tires are a huge cushion and will help out
thanks for the reply guys. i wouldnt do the work myself as transmissions are wayyyy out of my comfort zone. i was just tryin to get an idea of how hard it is so i could get a ballpark of how much it would cost to get done. thanks for the tip trannyman, ill have to ask zzp about this. first ive heard about it. i got the trans done august of 08, so maybe it has the chain you're talking about. ASSuming its better than stock?
