Just bought this car like 2 months ago and the other day i was on a hill and it rolled back when i let off the break and i didn't pay any atention to it because im use to driving a stick but my gf freaked out. So is this normal for these cars or do i need a new tranny?

Second question. Whats the avg rebuild cost on one of these and whats a good shift kit?

The 4T65E has a pretty loose torque converter. It's normal.

A good shift kit can be found at INTENSE-Racing.com - G8, Grand Prix, Bonneville, Regal, L67 3800 Supercharged Performance Products. .

The torque converter is designed to provide the slippage of a clutch. Very normal if you are on enough of a grade.
