I can say there was one time he was alot faster pulling a tranny, it was my fault that he had to. It was a Friday night at about 1 or 130am and we had just went out to watch a race played around on the way back into town and we got a light on Coliseum and he wanted me to race the guy that just pulled up to me I didn't want to cuz cops are always driving up and down that road (I didn't want a ticket!!!) He kept telling me when the light turns your gonna race him I said fine we took off and I manually shifted and it went into that gear then right into the next without me shifting into the next gear and went boom!!! I pulled into a parking lot and he got out and told me that I blew the tranny he wasn't very happy that it went!!! So off course I was saying to myself I didn't want to race him in the first place but I kept my mouth shut. He told me that it was just going to sit until he felt like fixing it. We called a friend (has a towing business) and he got there at about 2am and I got the other car and went home he took the car to our shop it took about 30mins to get to the shop from where we where and he was home at 4am. He told me in the morning that he pulled the tranny I was shocked that he did he started on it at about 3 and he was done in about 30-45 min. and tore some of it down I was in total shock!!!! I went to work at 830 and I went over to the shop at 12 and was able to drive the car back to work!!!! I broke the forward drum shaft, I'm just glad that he had the parts to fix it and didn't have to order anything.
