Hi guys and gals, I just wanted to post and appologize for not being on much the past few months as I have been very busy and simply dont have as much time online as I used to. There is a lot of great info that has been posted up in this section that can be found using the search feature which I strongly suggest to anyone with trans problems to do to help keep repetative questions down. Between work and emails, they eat up most of my day! If anyone needs to get ahold of me or has a question that hasnt been answered on here please feel free to send me a PM or Email as those get answered first and if I have time I try to get on the forums to help out.

My GT is almost at 109K and the trans is still 100% stock...do you think a topswap or an SS M90 kit would kill it?

i think so, mine died with out any power adders, and i had 106k. to be on the safe side, i would def give her a performance re-build.

    LOL come on now!

On note of the top swap killing your stock trans it honestly depends on its current condition and you should as a minimum install a shift kit and get a good tune to help prolong its life but it may be short lived after the swap

So shift kits extend the life of the trans? I heard they lessened it. Do they do anything for performance?
The trans. whines alot in 1st and second gear but its been doing that for over a year and I haven't had any problems yet.

Nitrous directed via open solenoid with no jets extends transmission and engine life tremendously. Make sure you bang it off the rev limiter and manually downshift the **** out of it for best results. Then pull over to the side of the road, open trans fluid cap and pour in half a box of Chex Mix and the rest in the valve cover oil filler. Good luck!

Oh and uh...sorry I havent been around to answer questions too guys...working for a living sucks.
