yes i did my self and it was a PITA to get the snap ring off...most trans shops will say they need to drop the trans...if you completely lost reverse its not the servo seal tho i lost mine and it was a worse reverse band.....(effin around in reverse in the snow cost me 1000 lol)

I actually do have reverse when cold or when I just turn on the car. Today I did notice the car got reverse after it was warmed up but it was slipping a little bit. Like I had reverse but with no power. The forward gears work good, the car pulls good.
