You're going to have a gearing difference for sure, as well as as needing a new passenger side axle to fit the non-HD diff. You could run into some cooling line issues, as GM switched some time in 99, IIRC.
That's all assuming the LaSabre used the 4T65E in 97, there were still 4T60s in use at that time, and I'm not sure when the LaSabre switched.
