    So i was told you cant tune an 08 grand prix but i was wondering if theres anyway able to tune it?

    Currently there is nothing on the market that can tune a base 08 grand prix, only the GXP model with the V8 can be tuned as the pcm is different.

    It has a year only computer, when they switched to a can-bus style systems on the cars. But soon after the grand prixs were cut and pontiac was pretty much done altogether. If pontiac continued to be made there would have likely been a better pursuit at making it possible to tune them.

    You also can't switch it out for a 07 or order pcm because of the can-bus.

    Dang that sucks but if i put er rocker, hv3 insert an a 2.5 downpipe do i need a tune? Or can i run it with out one

    You wouldnt "need" a tune for those but I'd be careful of what converter is in that downpipe.

    It might flow to well for the cars rear o2 sensor and cause the check engine light to come on. If you could cut the stock cat out and weld it in that pipe you'd be golden still.

    It will flow to much and will set an ses you'll need a fouler/spacer from ebay
