2006 gt supercharged with tap shift and hud. I thought only a select few 2005 gtps got tap shift after the comp g name was dropped and didn't realize it carried over until 06

That's weird.
Base model wheels, HUD and tapshift on an 06 GT....
It does have the SPO package (grills, spoiler, exhaust tips) but I don't think that has anything to do with the Tapshift
also HUD is really rare on 06 and 07 GT's
The wheels are 17 inch. Not base model, I do believe.
Ya those are special order wheels

Maybe one of the SE's that we're rare AF?
Should try and get the vin from the dealer

Mines pretty much the same thing too. My 07 with same wheels, different tips then I've seen come stock, HUD, and tap shift. I haven't seen another one like it until now and was wondering the same lol

The dealer emailed me back wondering where I found this cuz it's been sold for awhile lol

I will when i get back to town I guess. How can I decide the vin? I know different number/letter combos are for whatever options, but is the a site you can enter it all in?

parts bin whore is my guess because it was nearing the end of production so they used what was available basically.
Mix matched so GM wouldnt have to order more parts for a car going out of production.
GM does sh*t in mysterious ways, you just never know but really any car can be optioned a certain way. This could be the case, but it's still a Grand Prix so not exactly rare.
Maybe a Canada only option?
Yep that could be it too! Doesn't matter to me much aside from I've always liked how mine seemed to be a notch up from the few I see around town stock-wise. I really like the exhaust tips and tap shift is fun and handy when your pushing it a bit past daily driving (albeit a slow response from button push to shift times). The rims seem to work well for my taste as well. I just wasn't sure If there was a package when you bought it
