Thats awesome Duane(Ryan?), thanks for all your hard work man!! I admire you for doing an in-depth project like this, im not big on electrical stuff AT ALL and you just made this stuff 10X easier. My next project is doing a HUD, no doubt about it. But im a little confused...see, I work at a GM dealership in the service department. I spoke with one of our Master Techs about doing this project on my car and he said I would have to have some sort of "modulator" or something to interpret the data and send it to the PCM, and a bunch of sensors to gather the data, such as a compass, something to detect/display the mph digitally instead of a speedometer, etc. But you make it seem so easy in this write up, did everything display correctly without sensors or is that not even how it works? heh, im kind of a n00b at this kinda stuff. thanks again man!
