There's really not a video section that I've seen on this forum, so I thought I'd just stick this here. Mods if this isn't the best place for this then please move it for me.

I took this video this weekend after I finished up putting on my intake pipe. Mods are as follows, 22.5 degree 3" pipe to MAF to 9" Spectre filter. Colder plugs, colder t-stat, and SD headers.

Sorry for the crappy video quality, it was on my Bold 9000 and I was holding onto the phone at the same time as driving it.

2005 GTP - AL 605's gapped at .055", SD headers, WAI with 9" cone air filter, 180 degree t-stat, green coolant, otherwise stock.

Ahhh close to stock...I remember those days.

Seems like it runs pretty good though for the 3.8". Just wait till you get the rockers and a tune and a 3.6"...it'll run like a raped ape compared to that tame accel.

That's the plans for the summer, get the mods finished and call it good so I can focus on my other project car more.

Here is an older video of the grand prix when it was nearly stock. The only thing done to it was the stock air box was removed and a small 6" Spectre air filter was put in it's place.
The video and sound are WAY off as I was just learning how to take a video with the new phone at that time and I messed something up while trying to do it. You can hear the audio at the beginning. The supercharger is noticeably louder in the newer video with the larger air filter and full intake on it.
Fast forward to 1:10 to see the take off. I spun some in first as I was launching hard, so that's why it jumps from 0-30 MPH so fast. The main thing you need to compare it to on the older video is the acceleration in second gear (45MPH and up). The newer video shows that it is noticeably faster in accelerating.

I look at it as preventative maintenace and not having to clean out dexcool if it were to sludge up like what I usually see in used newer GM cars...

You have a pristine cooling system that has dexcool in it? If so, hats off to you or the PO for taking care of the car.
