ok so my mom has an 04 gt. It keeps popping on and off the service traction system and the anti lock brake light. it will come on saty for a bit then shut off. She claims she can feel it in the pedal before it pops on. What the heck is wrong. i figured a sensor. but the car runs fine its more of an annoyance.

i have the same problem i just disconnected one of the sensors so its always off i have yet to find which sensor is bad and i dont really care cause my car isnt usually driven in the winter anyway.

you should be able to ohm out each of the sensors on the wheel hubs to find out which one is bad.

Its a wheel bearing going bad, which incorporates the sensor as well.

More than likely one of the front ones.

Replace both at the same time is just better, they are pretty cheap and easy to do

hmmmn please explain in more detail drunkie..... Mine feels like the pedal gets harder and weird feeling then the ABS and Trac come off saying service them on the DIC then it feels fine. A friend told me it was the ABS control module but thats expensive

ZZP PCM, Wbody PCM, Custom PCM ( the best ), Headers, 3" exhaust, 3.4" pulley, ZZP 10.3 Wires, AL 104's, 160 tstat, 1.9 Rockers, Custom huge cone intake. Gunna push this GTP to the limit.

Nope, this is a typical GM way of telling you the wheel bearing is bad (it can just be the sensor part of it so you might not get the hum, still have to replace the hub to fix the sensor)

Google search will turn that up. It did the same thing on my dad's Caddy and we replaced the wheel bearing hubs and it cured the problem.

The pedel will feel hard to push because thats the ABS activating and taking control.

Mine needs to replaced and that's why I hate it. But a properly working one would be better lol
