they all work the same, you just cant use such small pullies because of your more efficient blower. there, now follow the thread.

Well then smart guys...why not post up there with your useful knowledge if the L32 GenV modding aspects...I'd like to know details, mods, prices, and year specifics if you could.

Also, PCM insights are great too...as tuning is harder and nearly impossible on '06+ cars without '04-'05 PCM's...

    So yeah...genius.

well from what i know. a 3.4 pulley on an older car is like a 3.6 on a newer model. the part where they say you have to port and polish the blower and throttle body might not have to apply to a gen V supercharger from what i have been told upon request. u deffinately need headers. u definately need intake. u definately need a 180 t stat, drilled is up to you but not recomended. colder and newer spark plugs to reduce knock and restore lost power, but im not sure if i want to switch out from stock ones. then it is recomended that you get the pcm tuned to your car. but here is where im stumped. when you order your pcm do you have them tune it for a regular 3.8 pulley or have them tune it for the 3.4 pulley for when you get it? or it doesn't matter what size pulley you have, programing the pcm has nothing to do with the size pulley you have? then they advise to finally get the size pulley recomended and also get a tighter belt to prevent belt slippage. i heard gatorback is a good brand. some one correct any mistakes.

Most vendor tunes are set up for a 3.4 setup. That would be the 3.6 for the gen v guys. The best thing you can do is buy a scanner and go from there.

think money wise, smaller pulley~$100, headers ~$400-$600, here where i live i got a custom tune for $250, and finally 3in exhaust ~150-depends where u live. personally i would spend on the headers and exhaust so that way u just jump to a 3.2 pulley

taking pride on your car= PRICELESS

hey bro if u dont like it u can stick it up ur a zzz, but seriously ur engine will not pop with a custom tune, u can tune it to be aggressive or just moderate, of course if u want to run fast u better be prepared to spend money, nothing is forever no matter how safely u mod ur engine!!!

You're a tool for thinking you can run a 3.2" pulley with just headers. Go throw a 2.8" pulley on your car and see how long it lasts.

I didn't say it was going to pop because of a custom tune dude, if you know ANYTHING about the 3800 modding scene, you know...ESPECIALLY on your car you can't drop to a 3.2" with just headers, and a tune...and a catback That does nothing smart guy.

So when you have something intelligent to tell people here...please feel free to comment.
