I have an (04 GTP Supercharged)
So what happen was my passenger side axle busted out it's inner joint.. So I went to the yard for a solid replacement.....
First took an axle off 06 GTP N/A, went home to do more research to figure out a (Supercharged axle) is what I need. There's a difference size & length--> Heavy Duty and Non Heavy Duty passenger axle. Now I know right??
Right away I swapped for an 03 GTP Supercharged axle and it seemed like the shaft that goes into the transmission/differential <--(if im not mistaken) was too wide...
So I go back to the yard and swapp for a 99 Buick Park Ave Ultra axle, supercharged of course.... And the same issue. I don't see what the problem is. My only guess is that I have a (Non Heavy Duty Differential) for some reason I don't know. So I guess tomorrow I'll try a GTP N/A Non Heavy Duty axle and see if that'll work.
My research must be trash because this should be a walk in a park to slide in. Give me some feedback. Anything will help... All fails I'm buying a brand new axle.
