So I read up on ZZP about the EGR delete...
"The proper way to install the plates so you should not get an SES light is to install the exhaust plate on the manifold, leave the EGR plugged in, ((My Question Is Here))--> but leave the exhaust side of the valve open to the atmosphere."
((Confused.. Which one to leave open to atmosphere?)) 1 or 2? In pic below.
"Using this method will keep the PCM happy and you WILL NOT SET AN SES LIGHT or throw any codes! If you want to remove the EGR valve completely, you will also need the intake plate, however you will get an SES light, so you will need PCM programming.
With the EGR now drawing in fresh air your intake will stay cleaner and cooler. *Gas mileage will suffer about 1 MPG with this mod."
