So does f body brakes work on 04+ grand prix's? I read the big brake thread and I may have missed it or it was not clearly stated. Is the 06 gt tunable? Or does it really require a 05 pcm? Does 97-03 struts work on 04+ gp's?

Fbody brakes will work on 04+ Grand Prix's. Some have even converted to Corvette or CTS-V brakes.

As far as I know the 06GT is tuneable. I'm unsure on the older pcm question.

97-03 struts should work on 04+ GP's. They are basically the same car with a different body. Not much has changed. I have 2004+ exhaust on my 99 that I only had to cut one exhaust hanger off to make it fit. They changed a placement of one hanger that's it.

Do read up some more but your questions were not that bad. I've seen worse like "i want a fast car" or something totally generic.

These cars are getting old and cheap. A lot of dummies will come on here and just ask really ridiculous things.

Feel free to ask more questions, this is your thread to do it in

The 06 is tunable. Zzp sells a 1.0 pcm that is tuned for the xar, the reasoning for the 05 pcm is you have to send in your pcm to them to flash it, they do not have other 06 pcms. If you dont want to lose your car for a week because zzp has your pcm you just order an 05 core instead. Due only thing different between a 05 pcm and an 06 is the remote start. You will lose remote start. Zzp site explains more in detail. Im know cuz i have an 06 gt and im running an 05 pcm
