    Do some reading first.

    LS4 section on LS1 tech has tons of infomation.

    You are limited power wise by the transmission. It's not a if it will break but when it will break. Remove the AFM/DoD system or have it turned off via a tuner to save the lifters from failing or having it burn tons of oil.
