Weirdly the rectangular style latch with the lock in the handle is almost impossible to find unless I go through a GM Parts dealer & they all want at least $70. No luck on eBay, Morad, LKQ, Google, nothing. If anyone has or knows where I can get one at more reasonable price I'd very much appreciate it.

Yup those damn things are hard to find unbroken.. I think I may have a spare one that I bought awhile ago I'll let you know tonight.. It's black I believe
