    Hey guys,

    I'm modding my L32 and I'm on a budget of about $1000-$1500.

Here are the parts that I'm looking for, obviously on the cheaper end, since I'm a college student. I just want to follow my passion for cars.

    Needed soon:

    XP Cam
    Double Roller Timing Chain
    Machined Oil Pump Cover
    105# OR Higher Valve Springs
    Titanium Retainers
( LS7 or Comp OER Lifters ) Purchased
    ZZP or Comp Cams Pushrods
Any gaskets needed for the Cam install
    60# Injectors
    Upgraded Fuel Pump
    Transgo Shift Kit
    3.2 & 3.0 MPS Pulley
    Headers

Also planning on designing my own dual layer insulated FWI.
Going to pull the 75mm TB off of my junked '96 Northstar.

Please PM me if you have these parts and are looking to get rid of em!

    Thanks for your time guys,

    Nick

Sounds good. And I do have e85. Never did any research on its benefits though because I figured it was an expensive and difficult project

I want to convert to E85 so bad now after reading all about it haha. It will be the last mod I do though, so I dont waste money on multiple tunes.

Honestly man, do it at the same time you do your cam. It's just injectors, a few fuel filters and a tune. You'll already have the injectors off so why not? Get a canned tune set for E85 and a cam, and then get a dyno one later. It'll cost you a $100 more and you won't regret it. E85 is by far the best thing to happen to our sad modding scene. It's awesome.

Who makes a $100 bottled tune? Also, what sized pulley do you think I could run, given the cam, headers, FWI, E85 and Northstar TB, on a gen V?

Pretty sure Reptile can get you one for around there. His ones for sale in the section go for 125$, so maybe a little more. But in the ballpark.

If i was you, and i had an MPS, I would buy 3.2, 3.0, and maybe even a 2.9 or 2.8 to start with. XP, Headers, E85 and a good tune should get you at least a 3.0. That's where i'm at, with 21* timing. It's a crazy fast setup compared to stock.

Do you have a stock fuel pump? Hows your tranny holding up at those power levels?

No, i have a walbro 255. Big injectors and a fuel pump and rewire are needed post cam level.

For an E85 build #60's and an upgraded pump of your choice is good. You'll start starving your engine with stock injectors and pump around your cam and maybe as big as a 3.4. You'll def need to upgrade the fuel system if you want a semi-serious m90 build.

Tranny wise i'm good. Shift kit, new fluid and filter two weeks ago. Shifts great. My points aren't conservative either, 6200 and 52mph in 1st, 6300 and 96 in 2nd. I try (emphasis on try) not to go WOT in first, or catch a 3-1 skip shift at like 20~mph. It's probably on borrowed time, but shifts great as of now, 2 months with cam and 5 months on E85, 3.3 and below.

Your's of course could be different, so don't take mine as the bible. I have 102xxx on my 04, so it's pretty low miles to start with, and i know it was babied before i got it.

EDIT: Just an idea of the power, Saturday going to watch the fight i went WOT in first. Chirped the tires pretty good when it shifted to 2nd at about 55 MPH. Just a little humblebrag...

After reading this I want to do all of the above...55 mph in first! I don't think the fiance would approve of spending a couple thousand while trying to get out of debt though
