Figured I might as well add rockers or can to my build. Trying to do it on a budget, so rockers but possibly a mild can that won't require more than upgraded springs. VS? S1x?

Mild cam is diminished returns... If you don't want to spend $$$ then you probably should rethink modding...
List your current mods or plans?

1.9's are a great mild mod, I have em and love the effect. Along with headers and tune and you're in business. Honestly, VS doesn't really add anything but work IMO. If you're going to cam build an engine, go BIG and then there's nothing mild about it. Lol... Just my $.02.

But there's another thread (current) on this very subject, maybe you should take a look around.

Wow. For a second I thought I was posting a WTB thread, not a "I need advice" thread...oh wait...

For your two cents, let me fill you in....I've got about 2 grand planned for my swap, which includes headers. I have much more I've spent in suspension and brake repairs. Plus several grand planned in much needed body work. I'm trying to rehab a car that used to be my moms. Since I'm approaching what I had initially budgeted for engine mods, I was just trying to add a little more that would compliment my port job on my heads, blower and intake. More will be done to the engine in the future, but I can get to my HP goal without doing a huge cam. E85 and a mild cam or rockers will probably put me where I want to take it.

So, please refrain from coming into someone's WTB thread and suggesting they should reconsider modding when its not done exactly how you think it should be. Thanks.

XP would be a good cam to go with or s1x cam.

1.9s are okay but if you want to really drop pulleys I'd go with a Cam such as the one REDCOMPG is selling. We're only here to give good info and kind advice that's all don't take it as a rude approach man this isn't clubgp

If you want 1.9s I have a set for sale for 200 shipped so there ya go you can go with redcomg xp cam or my rockers.
