i just bought one from napa. 152.00 on sale. last rack i had i got used, then it took a crap. new is the way to go if you ask me. cause its not a job you want to do twice.

Yeah, I hear ya - it'll be another month before I can shell out the cash for a new one though, so trying to avoid having to daily my 12 MPG Tahoe until then.

used aint much cheaper. i paid 75 for the used one, most are 100 to 125 used easy. so for a few bucks more, buy new....i learned my lesson the hard way.
